Your articles at Lew’s website have been on “must read” list for quite a few years. That has been largely due to your free market economic theme and your thoughts on food and exercise. Here in Iowa we don’t grow food. We grow fillers for products called food but that’s another story.
It’s your writing on Detroit that has captured my interest lately. Everyone I’ve met from Detroit has typically described their escape from the city. None of the former Detroit residents were anything but the usual Demoplican and Republicrat voters. They all believed you have got to have government in order to keep the place going. Yet the evidence shows that the political cronyism did nothing it promised to do. I’ve often wondered what a city would become in the absence of an over reaching municipal government. If an entrepreneur could set up shop in a free business environment, what would it look like? So it’s been fascinating to read your work on the renaissance underway in Detroit.
